AESTHETIC MEDICINE

Dermapen 4

Pores, acne scars & texture

Microneedling creates small channels to stimulate a repair response. Needle depth and added products affect recovery.

How it works

After assessment and cleansing, topical anaesthesia may be used. Active inflammation and melasma are checked before selecting areas.

Visits & recovery

The clinic describes 3–4-week intervals, clearer results around the fifth session on average and 5–10 sessions for deep scars. Redness, peeling or stinging may last around a week; bathing is showers-only on the day and makeup from the next day.

Risks & considerations

Bruising, swelling and pigmentation changes are possible. The clinic excludes melasma areas. Confirm when to restart makeup and skincare.
