HARG & hair-loss assessment

Thinning hair & shedding

HARG injects a growth-factor preparation into the scalp. It differs from transplantation or cultured autologous cells; first assess the cause of hair loss.

How it works

Assess the scalp, progression, history and current hair treatments before preparation and injection.

Visits & recovery

The clinic describes six sessions at 3–4-week intervals over about 5–6 months, then maintenance once or twice a year. Perms and colouring are avoided for one week and haircuts for three days after treatment. Response and maintenance needs vary.

Risks & considerations

Pain, redness, itching or rash may occur. Confirm product ingredients, approval status and the cost of the full course.
